We played the Ladies Night for the Malting Abbey Lodge on Saturday, at The Hadlow Manor Hotel in Maidstone, Kent. We had played for this lodge before but at a different venue. It was good to see everyone again, as we knew that we would be up for a good night.
The President, Tom and his lady Alison hosted a great night. The room looked lovely.
We played a huge variety of songs, and aired a few more new ones, Cyndi Lauper’s Time after Time and the classic David Bowie hit, Let’s Dance. They went down a treat! Everyone had such a great night, and it showed, non-stop dancers on the dance floor until the end.
What will stick in my mind, is how many people came up to us at the end and thanked us and told us how much they enjoyed it. Thank you to the Malting Abbey Lodge, it was a pleasure to play for you and we hope to see you again next year.
