Last night we played for the Ladies Night for the Buttsbury Loyal Citizens Lodge. We were set up in the function room at The Holiday Inn, Festival Leisure Park in Basildon.
The President and his wife started the dancing as normal and although it was a small Lodge they made us feel very welcome and enjoyed theirselves. Not all were dancers but they were singing and clapping at their tables.
They did enjoy a slow dance so we played several of those along with a lot of disco music.
The sandwiches laid on for us were gorgeous, thank you for looking after us.
