We played for Janine’s 50th birthday in Southend, she had hired out a lovely function room in her local pub and had chosen a theme of James Bond.
We started the night with the theme tune from James Bond and she entered the dance floor with her husband Tom. We played a lot of 70’s disco as requested by Janine, which is my fave! Car Wash, Boogie Wonderland, Boogie Oogie, I’m So Excited, That’s The Way, Young Hearts, Disco Inferno, Le Freak, Ain’t Nobody, Night Fever and Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough! I was in my element, funky tunes all night long.
The room looked great, Janine and co had worked hard and the guests all made an effort to dress up, we even had the pleasure to crown the king and queen for the best dressed.
