Tonight we played at The Marriott Hotel in Waltham Abbey for the annual ladies night of the Bishopsgate Lodge.
The President Mike and his lady started the dancing, quickly joined by the rest of the lodge. We had a few sound problems courtesy of a noise limiter at the hotel that was apparently not turned on! but we eventually sorted it near the end, thanks for that!
We played a mixture of songs due to the variety of ages in the lodge, and as normal we had some ‘spot prizes’ to hand out to 5 couples that answered my questions correctly, prizes go to the 1st couple to tell me the right answer.
Also, the hats and flags were handed out and we all got one like normal. The crowd enjoyed theirselves and kept us on our toes. Good to see you all again.
