On Saturday 4th August we played at Goldhanger Village Hall for a 50th Birthday Party.
Jenny had seen us several times before and was determined that we would play for her birthday. She had decorated the hall with vintage bunting and had an ‘afternoon tea’ vibe. Outside had some hay bundles to sit on, it looked great! Thank goodness the weather was ok!
Jenny loved to dance so we started off with a ballroom song and Jenny and her husband Tom danced a beautiful cha cha. Eat your heart out Strictly! We played mostly up tempo songs, particularly Disco, my fave!
Great night, great people. We had a ball, thank you for looking after us, the tea went down well. Packed dance floor, with your guests wanting more, sorry we could only do 2 more! See you again soon.
